Refund & Cancellation Policy

How refunds and cancellations are handled.

1. Nature of payments

Payments made on TradeLounge are used to purchase your share of specific physical inventory units under a co-ownership and consignment arrangement. They are not deposits or guaranteed-return investments. Once units are allocated to you and the deal is active, the payment is generally non-refundable.

2. Cancellation window

If you believe a payment was made in error, was duplicated, or was charged but the corresponding inventory allocation was not confirmed, you must contact us within 7 days of the transaction. We will review the transaction and, where a payment failed to result in a valid allocation, initiate a refund of the affected amount.

3. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through our payment partner, Razorpay. Refunds are typically credited within 5–7 business days after approval, depending on your bank or payment provider. Any applicable gateway fees or taxes will be handled in line with the payment partner's policies.

4. Deal performance is not a refund event

Returns are not guaranteed and depend on the actual sale price achieved for the inventory. A lower-than-expected payout is a normal commercial outcome and is not a basis for a refund of your original contribution.
